Your Responsibilities:
Design-in and customer support for System Management (SM) products at key accounts in the Amusement/Gaming and related markets
-Strong technical background with previous proven product definition and customer interaction experience
-Provide leadership and priorities setting to the application engineering team
-Contribute to roadmap development and innovation
-Identify new business and product development opportunities
-Working with key customers, sales and distribution partners on product definition
-Work with senior management to set and manage priorities, align roadmap and resource needs, present business development cases and create NPRs (new product requests)
-Fulfill the role of technical resource to the IPMM (international product marketing manager)
-Provide leadership to CFTs (cross-functional teams) in terms of development priorities, schedules and customer deliverables
-Maintain clear and comprehensive web presence of SM products and support tools and materials
-Owner of product datasheets
-Contribute application notes, technical articles, technical and market training materials
-Represent NXP in applicable standards bodies and special interest groups
Your Profile:
-MSEE preferred, BSEE with sufficient applicable experience. Excellent communicator and technical team leader.
-Good technical writing skills in English.
-Ability to operate in a highly dynamic team environment and an international fast-paced customer environment.
-Ability to travel internationally as well as domestically.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently in accordance with broadly defined business objectives. -Must be a self-motivated, high-energy and highly organized individual.
-Technical expertise in I2C and other serial bus protocols, characteristics and modes of operation.
-Knowledge of system management and hardware monitoring functions such as LED control, IO expansion, I2C bus buffers and bus applications.
-Experience with signal integrity, EMC, ESD, and transmission line theory and strong system level debugging skills in customer applications.
Possession of great system and application knowledge and insights, in particular in the amusement and gaming industry with additional experience in white goods, vending machines, ATM, industrial, computing, LED, mobile, automotive and/or consumer applications.
